It was the kind of wedding you’d expect from fashion royalty, and Celio Saab and Zein Qatami delivered nothing less than a modern-day fairytale, infused with love, legacy, and unmistakable Lebanese flair.

Held from July 17 to 19, 2025, in the lush mountain town of Faqra, Lebanon, the son of iconic fashion designer Elie Saab married Jordanian beauty and entrepreneur Zein Qatami in a three-day celebration that left the Arab world enchanted. With a guest list packed with A-listers and an Instagram explosion that racked up millions of views, it was more than a wedding, it was a moment.

Love in the City of Dreams

Celio and Zein’s love story began far from the hills of Lebanon, in Dubai, where a casual evening among friends turned into the start of forever. “He walked in, and something just clicked,” Zein recalled in a heartfelt Instagram post last year. “I didn’t know I was meeting the love of my life.”

The couple got engaged in June 2024, with Celio popping the question during a private sunset dinner in Amalfi, Italy. “She said yes, and I said thank God,” Celio joked at the wedding reception.

A Fashion-Forward Fairytale

Day one of the celebration kicked off at the Elie Saab family villa with a welcome party themed “Fusion Tribal.” The bride stunned in a custom gold gown designed, of course, by her future father-in-law, complete with delicate embroidery and a flowing cape that shimmered under the Lebanese sun. Celio kept things effortlessly stylish in an olive-green suit and open beige shirt. On July 18, Zein and Celio exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony at the Maronite Patriarchate in Bkerke, surrounded by family, friends, and dignitaries including Lebanon’s First Lady, Nemat Aoun, and musical icons like Nancy Ajram Assi AlHallani and Elissa.

Zein’s wedding gown was nothing short of breathtaking, a handcrafted Elie Saab masterpiece that took over 800 hours to create, embellished with more than 300,000 Swarovski crystals. “I couldn’t believe it was mine,” she later shared. “It felt like I was stepping into history.”

For the glamorous reception that followed, Zein changed into another custom Saab creation, a crystal-encrusted tulle gown with a romantic veil that floated like mist behind her.

A Family Affair with Fashion Roots

Fashion ran deep that weekend. Claudine Saab, the groom’s mother, glowed in a bejeweled beige gown, while Christina Mourad, wife of Elie Saab Jr., stunned in a gold-and-blue halter dress. قصة حب بدأت من دبي

بدأت الحكاية في مدينة دبي، بلقاء عابر بين أصدقاء انتهى بميلاد حبّ كبير. “دخل الغرفة، وشعرت بشيء مختلف”، كتبت زين في منشور مؤثّر. “لم أكن أعلم أنّني ألتقي حبّ حياتي”

في شهر حزيران من العام الماضي، طلب سيليو يد زين خلال عشاء خاص وقت الغروب في بلدة أمالفي الساحرة في إيطاليا. وقال ضاحكًا في الحفل: “قالت نعم، وأنا قلت الحمد لله”

أناقة لا تشبه إلّا عائلة صعب

في اليوم التالي، تمّ عقد القران في الصرح البطريركي الماروني في بكركي، بحضور شخصيات مرموقة، من بينها السيّدة الأولى للبنان، وعدد من النجوم مثل نانسي عجرم وعاصي الحلاني وإليسا

ارتدت زين فستان زفاف خياليًّا صُمّم خصيصًا لها، واستغرق تنفيذه أكثر من ثمانمئة ساعة عمل يدوي، وزُيّن بأكثر من ثلاثمئة ألف كريستالة. “عندما ارتديته، شعرت أنّني أدخل التاريخ”، قالت العروس

وفي الحفل الكبير بعد المراسم، ظهرت زين بفستان آخر، من التول المرصّع بالكريستال، ترافقه طرحة ناعمة كأنّها غيمة ترافق خطواتها

عائلة تعيش الفخامة والبساطة

ليلة ختام أسطوريّة

في اليوم الثالث، عاد الحفل إلى فيلا العائلة. ارتدت زين فستانًا أزرق فضّي بلا أكمام، وتسريحة ويفي ناعمة، ومكياج هادئ أبرز ملامحها. وكان الختام على أنغام الموسيقى وألعاب ناريّة أضاءت سماء فقرا

قال سيلو لأحد أصدقائه: “كل شيء كان كما تمنّينا. لا نقص، لا خطأ. كان كاملًا”

وماذا بعد الزواج؟

بعد انتهاء الزفاف، توجّه العروسان إلى جزر المالديف لقضاء شهر عسل هادئ وبعيد عن الأضواء. وتقول مصادر مقرّبة إنّهما يخطّطان للعيش بين بيروت، ودبي، وباريس، حيث قد ينضم سيليو إلى أعمال العائلة، فيما تخطّط زين لإطلاق مشروع خاص في عالم الصحّة ونمط الحياة

لكن الآن، هما فقط يستمتعان ببداية قصّتهما الجديدة
